Let's put some ‘FUN’ into FUNdraising

Action Cancer for kids...

Schools' Fundraising

Did you know that as well as our large range of Health Promotion programmes for schools, Action Cancer also offers a large range of therapeutic and counselling services for children or their parents and siblings who have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis?

These services are delivered face-to-face from Action Cancer House and inside the wards of the Haematology Depts of RVH, Altnagelvin and Ulster Hospitals.

Why not help us keep these invaluable services going?

There are lots of ways your school pupils and teachers can get involved and have lots of fun while raising funds! Whether it’s a non-uniform day, a wacky races day, mad hair day, sponsored walk or a movie and popcorn afternoon you’ll have fun and help to support people affected by cancer in your local community.

Let’s keep it simple…

Nursery Schools

Keep fundraising easy and fun with your little onesWhy not hold a Teddy Bear’s picnic or a Wear It Red Day to help raise funds towards our amazing Action Cancer services for kids impacted by a cancer diagnosis or our range of health promotion programmes?

Primary Schools

Let’s get your Primary School pupils raising funds towards our Action Cancer services for kids… pupils will learn about the importance of supporting a local charity as well as helping children their own age who have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis.

We need your fun-loving and generous pupils to get involved. How about do a ‘Wear Something Wacky Day’ and all pupils donate £1 each?

Post Primary Schools

Fundraising is a brilliant way to get older pupils engaged and thinking about creative ways to raise money! Why not pitch year group teams against each other and see who can raise the most? Pupils can get entrepreneurial selling products or skills to their peers, parents and teachers – all for a good cause!

Contact our Fundraising team [email protected] for ideas, assistance and fundraising materials.

A huge thank you to our long-term corporate partners who help support our Health Action Programmes.
