Our services are free to any child or adult impacted by cancer at any time in the cancer journey.

Services can be accessed from Action Cancer House in Belfast or regionally from 15 locations throughout Northern Ireland.

Our Services can help deal with the physical and emotional impacts of cancer e.g. pain, restrictions, fatigue, sleeplessness, anxiety/fear and our Self Care section provides useful tools that can help you cope at home. 

Just diagnosed/in treatment

We can support you with Counselling, Complementary Therapies, Life Coaching, Acupuncture, Peer Mentoring

Living with/recovering from cancer

We can support you with Scar therapy, Acupuncture, Yoga/Pilates, Counselling, Complementary Therapies, Life Coaching, Peer Mentoring

Family/friends/bereaved

We can support you with Counselling, Complementary Therapies, Life Coaching

Counselling

The opportunity to explore thoughts & feelings.  Available to children, young people & adults during any stage of the cancer journey.

Life Coaching

Helps you think about your life, adapt to change & move forward.

Positive Living Programme

A 2-day life coaching programme for people affected by cancer.

Peer Mentoring

Provided by trained volunteers, who have personal experience of a cancer diagnosis.

Complementary Therapy

Shown to be effective in helping with physical, emotional/psychological issues that can impact people affected by cancer

Scar Therapy

Involves the gentle massage of the skin & superficial layers of tissue around post-surgical scars.

Acupuncture

Involves the placement of sterile disposable needles at selected points on the body.

Pain & Restrictions

If you suffer from pain & restrictions after cancer, we have specific treatments that can help.

Children & Young People

Children aged 5yrs and older can access Complementary Therapy & Counselling.

Exercise Programmes

We provide Pilates & Yoga classes for cancer patients (at Action Cancer House, or virtually).
