The Great Big Bucket Collection 2023
Action Cancer is kicking off the 50th Anniversary celebrations on Saturday 4th February 2023, World Cancer Day with The Great Big Bucket Collection and we need your help!
We will be out with our buckets collecting the following towns and cities across the country:
Carrickfergus, Ballyclare, Ballymena, Cookstown, Coleraine, Newtownards, Belfast, Lisburn and Bangor.
We are looking for groups of volunteers local to these areas to help us shake our buckets and raise stacks of cash for Action Cancer’s local detection and support services.
Will you and any family, friends or work colleagues volunteer a couple of hours and help make this event a ‘Great Big’ success?
Action Cancer has been at the heart of cancer prevention, detection and support for people in Northern Ireland for 50 years. The services that Action Cancer provides are unique and free to the user but the charity does not receive regular government funding which is why ‘The Great Big Bucket Collection’ is hugely important way to raise vital funds.
To take part all you need to do is complete the registration form below and make sure you specify which of the 9 areas you would be able to collect in.
If you can’t volunteer on the day Action Cancer is also calling for shops and businesses to get involved by taking a bucket or collection tin to display in their store or workplace on the weeks leading up to the collection to help raise funds.
