We would like you to Host a ‘Builder’s Tea’. Choose one Friday morning over July or August to ‘host a builders tea’ and raise funds and awareness about the importance of sun safety. If every company that gets involved helps us achieve a combined target of £5,000 this will allow us to screen another 100 local people.
In NI Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer is the most common form of cancer. This type of skin cancer commonly occurs in outdoor workers such as those from the construction industry.
Good tea, great people and an amazing new detection service.
Action Cancer is delighted to launch a new Skin Cancer Detection Service. This will be delivered in Action Cancer House and onboard our Big Bus by our clinical nurse specialists. This service is for people who have a concern about a changing mole/lesion. The aim of the service is to detect skin cancers at an early stage which will improve patient outcomes.
