A donation drive is very simple to hold and can generate vital donations for Action Cancer.
Follow our simple five step donation drive plan:
Step 1: Set a date and location
Step 2: Shout about it: tell everyone you know, get them involved and promote your event, use our posters
Step 3: Be prepared: save up shopping bags and boxes to pack your donations in
Step 4: Book a collection: Drop your donations to your nearest Action Cancer Shop or for large donations arrange a collection
Step 5: Thank you! Every donation helps, so don’t forget to say thank you to everyone who took part in your donation drive, get a certificate here
Boost your donation with Gift Aid
Gift Aid is a government scheme that lets charities reclaim tax on your donations at no extra cost to you! By signing up to Gift Aid your donations will be worth 25% more! Meaning all those fantastic pre-loved gems that you donate to our shops, if they sell for £10 we will actually receive £12.50, an extra £2.50 towards our cancer prevention, detection and support services, click below to print our Gift Aid form and attach to your donation.
