Group Acupuncture Tackling Hot Flushes and Night Sweats

We are starting to offer group acupuncture sessions specifically targeting people experiencing hot flushes and night sweats resulting from cancer surgery/hormone treatment.   Participants will be treated in a small group setting (up to 4 people) using acupuncture needles.  Participants would individually be assessed by the acupuncturist through phone consultation before joining the group setting and would be expected to attend 5 consecutive dates for the treatment.  Whilst this service is particularly targeting symptoms of hot flushes and night sweats, acupuncture is also beneficial in reducing anxiety and aiding relaxation.

Deliver times:

• Tuesday afternoons, Action Cancer House, 20 Windsor Ave, Belfast (acupuncture on arms and legs)
• Wednesday/Thursday, Derry/Londonderry (ear acupuncture only)
• Wednesday, Ulster Hospital (ear acupuncture only)
• Friday, Newry (ear acupuncture only)
• Friday, Coleraine (ear acupuncture only)
